Refunds & Returns Policy


Thank you for visiting the E–Store of La Clé Franschhoek. We value your trust and are committed to ensuring your experience is enjoyable and seamless. Please read our Refunds and Returns Policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. Returns

With wine being a natural product, we shall gladly refund / replace wines that are corked, once the faulty products are returned to us for further investigation or analysis.

2. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, broken, or if you receive the wrong items, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery by sending an email to gm@lacle.co.za with:

  • Your order number

  • A clear description of the issue

  • Photographs showing the damage or incorrect items (if possible)

Once we have reviewed your request, we will gladly arrange a replacement or refund for the affected items at no additional cost to you.

3. Refunds

Refunds are only issued under the following circumstances:

  • Your order is cancelled before dispatch.

  • Your order arrives damaged, broken, or incorrect, and we cannot offer a replacement.

Approved refunds will be processed to your original method of payment. Please allow 2 – 5 working days for the refund to reflect, depending on your bank or payment provider.

4. Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us immediately via gm@lacle.co.za or at +27 (0)21 876 4833. Orders can only be cancelled before they have been shipped. Once dispatched, cancellations are not possible.
